Amis du Centre Pompidou

The Friends of the Centre Pompidou (Musée national d'art moderne – Centre Pompidou) and the Mansart Foundation have established a foundation under its auspices called the “Fondation abritée Les Amis du Centre Pompidou.”

Thanks to the commitment of the Friends, historic masterpieces have joined the Museum’s collections, including The Deep by Jackson Pollock in 1976, the first work by an American artist to enter French public collections; Bleu I by Joan Miró in 1984; and Slave Auction by Jean-Michel Basquiat in 1993, the only painting by the artist held in the Museum’s collections.

By making a donation to the hosted foundation Les Amis du Centre Pompidou, you will support specific cultural projects, particularly the acquisition of artworks for the Centre Pompidou, thereby contributing to the international influence of France’s artistic heritage.
