Review of the European Heritage Days: immersion in the heart of the Bagatelle and Villa Windsor worksites

On the occasion of the European Heritage Days on 19 and 20 September, the Mansart Foundation had the pleasure of opening the doors of the Château de Bagatelle and the Villa Windsor. Throughout the weekend, visitors were able to discover the other side of the scene at these two restoration sites.
Welcomed and guided by the volunteers of the Foundation, the participants were able to retrace the main stages of the work already accomplished and admire the fruit of the work of the companies at work. Beyond the restoration techniques, these visits were an opportunity to reveal the fascinating history of these monuments as well as their future museographic project.
The craze was there: all the guided tours were sold out, welcoming more than 300 curious visitors throughout the weekend.
