On Tuesday, May 13, 2025, the Île-de-France Region awarded the Prize for Economic Assistance Recipients to the Fondation Mansart at an official ceremony bringing together elected officials, heritage stakeholders and institutional partners. This award recognizes the Foundation’s ongoing commitment to the restoration and enhancement of historical heritage, serving cultural outreach and tourism development in Île-de-France.
The Foundation was awarded for its project to rehabilitate Villa Windsor, part of a heritage site located north of the Bois de Boulogne. The Mansart Foundation’s objective is to create a tour of three centuries of history. This route will connect: the castle of Bagatelle (18th century), the Trianon of Bagatelle (19th century), the villas Windsor and Amelia (20th century). This future cultural itinerary will propose to the public a program combining permanent and temporary exhibitions.
The Mansart Foundation extends its sincere thanks to the Île-de-France Region for this recognition, as well as to all its partners, patrons, volunteers and visitors who contribute daily to make this exceptional heritage alive.
